It’s been a long time between updates.  I’ve just upgraded my installation of WordPress to the latest version in the hope that it’ll inspire me to get back into updating this blog again. While you’re all waiting for inspiration to strike, how about a couple of portraits of Andrew and Nicholas?

There have been two big breakthroughs with Nicholas this week. His first tooth came through a few days ago, which didn’t really seem to bother him too much, plus he’s started having some solid food at night.
Here’s a short video of him enjoying some pumpkin and sweetcorn.

I know I’m terribly late with this update, but Julia and I (and Andrew of course) are proud to announce the safe arrival of Nicholas Geoffrey Beckitt. Nicholas was born at 11.34am yesterday (the 14th) by c-section weighing 2920gm, or 6lb 7oz in the old measurements.
